Acclaimed children's author and TV personality David Walliams has been dropped by his publisher HarperCollins UK, the company has said.

A number of his books, for example *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have also been adapted into television films.
He has published over four dozen titles combined, including a holiday title called *Santa & Son*, which was published by HarperCollins last autumn.
From Screen to Page
He first rose to fame on the broadcast sketch program *Little Britain* and has additionally received National Television Awards for his duties as an arbiter on *Britain's Got Talent*.
He was awarded an OBE in 2017 for his services to the charitable sector and arts community.
This development follows the selection of Kate Elton as HarperCollins UK's new chief executive last fall.
